THE NEED TO PROMOTE THE POLICY

The ability of TI–Moldova to raise the ethic standards of the public officials and business people may be compromised by any mistake of the representatives of TI-Moldova. It is important that every person who collaborates with the association to be receptive to the potential conflict of interests.

PRINCIPLES OF ADMINISTRATION

1. The potential conflicts of interests must be identified and eliminated as soon as possible. If the problems are identified before making the decision or taking measures, the situation may be avoided and the solution can be found.

2. The evaluation of the conflict situation must be made by neutral and not interested persons.

PERSONS AFFILIATED WITH OTHER INSTITUTIONS

A part of the main work in the Association is executed by the persons which are not employees of the Association, among which there are the Members of the Coordinating Council (Board), associated experts, volunteers, etc. In the majority of cases these persons are employees of the other organizations, are members of professional unions, etc. The campaigns and organizations these persons are affiliated to are not deprived of the right to collaborate with the Association, however, these organizations must not benefit from any preference as compared to the other campaigns and organizations.

GIFTS

No member of TI-Moldova, including staff, can accept gifts, favors, or any other valuable offers from any organization or person, if the action may be treated as an attempt to influence the activity of the Association.
